CLINICAL PRACTICE
Therapy is not simply a process of gaining insight. Insight can be valuable, but understanding a problem does not necessarily produce change. My work focuses on helping individuals translate awareness into action, developing practical skills and behavioral strategies that improve functioning under real-world conditions.
Psychological difficulties often emerge under conditions of stress, uncertainty, competing demands, and limited resources. Treatment focuses not only on understanding these challenges, but also on building the capacity to respond to them more effectively over time.
Areas of Focus
I work with adults experiencing:
-
Anxiety and excessive worry
-
Depression and mood-related concerns
-
Life transitions and adjustment difficulties
-
Motivation and behavior change challenges
-
Health-related stress and chronic medical conditions
-
Relationship and interpersonal difficulties
-
Stress, burnout, and performance-related issues
-
Severe and persistent psychiatric disorders
Treatment Approach
My approach integrates principles from health psychology, behavioral medicine, cognitive and behavioral therapies, and other evidence-based psychological frameworks. Treatment is tailored to the individual and focuses on identifying patterns that maintain difficulties while developing practical strategies that support meaningful change.
The goal is not simply symptom reduction, but improved functioning, decision-making, resilience, and long-term capacity.
Telehealth Services
All services are provided through a secure telehealth platform, allowing individuals to access treatment from the privacy and convenience of their own environment.
